Company has over 185 employees and is growing rapidly!
From the start, we pledged to prioritize technology investment over profits. It wasn't always easy. But we stuck by it and it has paid off. The development of proprietary solutions is what has allowed us to stay competitive amid unpredictable market conditions.
"Measure your world and use your measurements." This is a motto we like to live by. Our growth has been propelled by a single-minded dedication to quantitative analytics and sophisticated testing methodologies.
By far, the most rewarding investment we make is in our people and preserving the collaborative, and more importantly, respectful culture where people work together to build world-class products.
Mark is a serial technology entrepreneur, and joined One Technologies as CEO and shareholder in early 2004, when it was less than 1% of the current size. He has worked as CEO, founder, and several other senior leadership roles in technology startups for 20 years. He holds a M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Purdue, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State. Outside of work, Mark is passionate about marine conservation, contemporary art, owls, snowboarding, interior design, scuba diving, wildlife photography, lasers, smart watches, politics, polar bears, motorized skateboards, chocolate pie, rocket engines, underwater photography, and trees. And a few other things. Mark doesn’t really do much work-wise around the office, but he sure is amusing to watch.
Clay Myers joined One Technologies in June 2013 as CFO. He has over 30 years of financial leadership experience, mostly in high growth environments. Prior to One Tech, Clay was CFO at HyperCube, Allegiance Telecom, and Weblink Wireless, all of which experienced dramatic growth. Clay has also held senior positions at Dell and Ernst & Young. He has architected successful capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, syndicated bank financings and high yield issues. Clay is a CPA and holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
SVP, General Counsel
Fred graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. Before joining One Technologies, Fred honed his business and legal skills at American Airlines, Blockbuster, and Match.com. Fred jumped at the chance to join One Tech and help guide the company through the challenges of marketing to consumers online. Fred devotes his time away from One Tech to family activities with his wife Stephanie and kids Simon and Sophie, including enjoying time outside at White Rock Lake and attending performances at the Dallas Children’s Theater.
VP, Partnership Marketing
Mary joined the One Technologies team in May of 2014. Prior to joining One Tech, Mary held senior leadership positions at DexMedia and Verizon, and brings strong sales, marketing, and operations experience to One Tech. Mary graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, and also attended the Executive Management program at Smith College. When away from the office, Mary enjoys playing tennis, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
VP, Customer Care
David joined the One Technologies team in April of 2014 after holding executive leadership positions in the eCommerce, internet and enterprise software industries. Most recently David was with McAfee (an Intel Company) where he led the Global Customer Advocacy organization. David also has held executive roles with GSI Commerce, Sun Microsystems, AOL and Netscape. David holds a BS in Zoology from Brigham Young University, where applying the scientific method to the study of animals prepared him well for dealing with executive leadership. He joined One Technologies because he has a passion for the Customer Experience and loved the idea of working for a company that protects consumers. Oh, and working with smart people in a fun culture is pretty good too. Outside of work David enjoys playing football and basketball, but will play just about anything other than women's field hockey. He also enjoys traveling, and spending time with his wife, daughter and three sons.
VP, Strategic Relationships
Pete joined One Technologies in 2005. In 2007, he built the recruiting organization that took One Tech from 35 people to 190 people. For the last four years, he has headed up strategic relationships, both domestic and international. A start-up veteran, Pete held senior business development positions at RateMyMortgage and Oversee.net. He joined One Tech because he likes early stage, high growth companies and working with really smart people. Out of the office he likes to spend time with family and friends.
VP, Corporate Insights
Matt graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Computer Technology. He joined One Technologies in 2004 because of the colorful personalities, the focus on analytics—and because two rocket scientists asked nicely. Ten years later he’s still at One Tech because the work is challenging and the culture is incredible. In his spare time Matt likes to climb mountains, snowboard, and scuba dive. It is almost certain he will kill himself eventually and the company has already identified several replacement candidates.
VP, Strategy & Optimization
Seth joined One Technologies in 2015. He brings a powerful blend of right brain/left brain thinking and cutting edge Internet experience to his role including growth hacking, business acumen, web analytics and other high tech tactics. He has worked with smart, motivated teams at Sprint, Holland America/Seaborne cruise lines and Microsoft – and is impressed with how One Tech team members work to help each other – and the company – to be successful. Seth’s experience on a team tackling complex assignments is anchored in the U.S. Navy. As a nuclear engineer, he helped build the nuclear submarine, the USS Maine (SSBN-741). The Ohio-class ballistic missile sub, one of only 14, was commissioned in 1995 and named in honor of the state of Maine. Today, the sub sails out of Bangor, Washington. Seth is the proud pet-parent of Charm, a feisty feline, and Dakota, a mixed-breed canine refugee from Hurricane Katrina.
VP, Human Resources & Facilities
Heather joined One Technologies in 2013, bringing with her more than 15 years of strategic leadership and relations management experience in high-profile companies including Snelling Staffing Services and Hotels.com. Heather partners with One Tech executive management on leading and managing a diverse organization to be as successful internally as externally. She provides keen insights, strategic direction, prioritization and execution to her Human Resources and Facilities department team. Heather loves her work at One Tech for a host of reasons…the people, the culture and the opportunities she’s afforded to help make a real difference in the quality of “work life”. HR is truly appreciated at One Tech – something that isn’t always the case at other companies. Away from the office, Heather enjoys spending time outside watching her kids’ sports games, golfing, going on walks or shopping (ok, shopping may or may not be outside). She lives with her husband, Chad, their children, Cameron and Mitchell, and their much-beloved fur babies – a Shih Tzu and a French Brittany spaniel.
Richard joined OT in 2015. Part bounty hunter, part Sherlock Holmes, he relentlessly and methodically hunts down software problems and solves them. Richard is an industry pro with serious global cred. His 17 years of experience in software development and quality testing includes a 10-year stint in Prague running one of the most trafficked employment websites, Monster.com. On weekends, the only time you’ll catch Richard sitting down is when he’s behind the wheel. An avowed grease monkey and racing enthusiast, you’ll likely find him in one of three places... under the hood of a ‘50s or ‘60s era vintage car he’s restoring, at a car show hunting down the next sweet ride – or at the track in the driver’s seat of a stock car or drag racer.
