One Tech in Grand Cayman
onetechnologies — November 1, 2011
We landed in Grand Cayman Island and entered a place filled with turtles, lizards, and tropical birds. Swimming with the stingrays and dolphins, and snorkeling along the reef, filled the days.
The Texas Rangers were in the World Series so on game nights, the team hung out in the hotel lobby so we could watch the games together.
Touring the island led to discoveries that included a house owned by Mark Cuban, pirate caves, blowholes, and Hell (really, Hell). A walk around Georgetown led to fountains, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums, and a boutique with the same name as our CEO (coincidence?).
The more active folks took the opportunities for scuba diving and para sailing, while others decided the submarine tours, glass-bottom boats, and horseback riding were more to their liking. Still others went in search of black coral and Caymanite jewelry. But everyone enjoyed the sun, surf, and sand, and headed back to the states relaxed and ready to face the world once again.
